Dr Laura Powling
CEO & Founder, Consultant Clinical Psychologist
I am a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, and it is important to me to continue working as part of the team day-to-day, even as we grow. Alongside leading the business, I work across multiple areas of our practice, including neurodevelopmental assessments for children, young people and adults. I also oversee and undertake assessments for the expert witness service, assisting parole boards and legal teams.

Kate Crawford-Blake
Head of Training, Research and Development
Kate is a Senior Specialist Neurodevelopmental Practitioner and Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT) with over 25 years of experience working with neurodivergent children and adults. Her career has been dedicated to improving outcomes for people who think and experience the world differently.

Dr Rachel Crabbe
Clinical Psychologist
I am a clinical psychologist and systemic practitioner. My work includes offering neurodevelopmental assessments for children and adults, as well as offering supervision to other members of the team. I am passionate about neurodiversity and working with young people, their families, and systems around them. As well as trauma informed care and adapting psychological approaches so that these can always be accessed in a meaningful way by all.

Sally Pitts
Neurodevelopmental Practitioner
My background is in primary school teaching. I spent nearly 30 years teaching in the primary sector, with over 15 years specialising in special educational needs, safeguarding and mental wellbeing. I am involved in working as part of the team completing neurodevelopmental assessments for children, young people and adults and I also take a lead with safeguarding. My passion lies with supporting families to get the best outcomes to enable provision to be put in place to help equip all with the skills and strategies needed to reach their potential.

Joanne Keeble
Clinical Support Worker
I am a Clinical Support Worker based in the Norwich Clinic. As part of the Neurodevelopmental Team, I work closely with clinicians and support with the ASD and ADHD assessment process. I carry out Qb Tests, screenings, and school observations. I am very experienced with supporting neurodivergent children and young people in an education-based setting and I have many years of experience working in Speech and Language. I am dedicated to supporting clients with achieving their best possible outcomes.

Rebecca Clegg
Team Lead Huddersfield
I carry out the neurodevelopmental assessments, both the developmental histories and one-to-one sessions with the children and young people. I am passionate about providing a high-quality service where children, young people and their families feel listened to and supported.

Lisa Bourton
Specialist Neurodevelopmental Practitioner (OT)
I am an occupational therapist and neurodevelopmental practitioner at Evolve. I work within the neurodevelopmental team conducting assessments for autism and ADHD for young people up to the age of 19. I am a caring and compassionate individual with a particular interest in sensory integration and emotional regulation. I am passionate in providing a person-centred approach, to ensure every person is treated as an individual with their own profile of strengths and passions. Furthermore, my role allows me to provide support to both clients and caregivers throughout the diagnostic process, whilst utilising my clinical knowledge and lived experience.

Rose Renton
SpLD Assessor
My name is Rose Renton and I am part of the SpLD (Specific Learning Difficulties) team. My role is to provide remote dyslexia assessments for children and adults, bringing together background information, cognitive testing and literacy tasks to build a clear picture of individual learning profiles. Drawing on many years' experience as a specialist teacher, I am passionate about taking a person-centred approach that not only recognises strengths, but builds confidence and independence, helping individuals overcome barriers and apply practical strategies for success in education, work and everyday life.

Alicia Johnson
SpLD Assessor
My name is Alicia Johnson, and I work in the SpLD (Specific Learning Difficulties) team, based in the Harrogate and Huddersfield offices. I specialise in assessing children and adults for dyslexia, drawing on my professional and personal experiences of SpLDs. My background is in specialist teaching, and I am particularly interested in the potential benefits of music on cognitive development within the context of dyslexia assessments. My role involves in-depth pre-assessment interviews, cognitive testing, and analysis of literacy attainment to develop a clear understanding of each individual's learning profile. I am passionate about enabling people to gain deeper insight into how they learn and to access personalised support that meets their specific needs.

Cherrida Crew
Specialist in Specific Learning Difficulty (SpLD)
I work within the Specific Learning Difficulty (SpLD) assessment service, where the team and I offer dyslexia and dyscalculia assessments for children and adults. I carry out assessments myself and also support the team to deliver a thoughtful and consistent service. I am passionate about taking a person-centred approach, recognising that every individual brings their own unique strengths, experiences and challenges. My role gives me the opportunity to support both clients and caregivers throughout the diagnostic process, offering guidance and understanding grounded in both professional knowledge and lived experience.

Molly Westmacott
Assistant Psychologist
I am an Assistant Psychologist at Evolve, and I support the assessment and diagnostic process for children, young people and adults for Autism and/or ADHD. This includes administering Qb Tests, school observations, gaining developmental histories and contributing to multidisciplinary team discussions to ensure each individual receives a thorough, person-centred assessment. I'm passionate about this role as it allows me to be part of a compassionate service, that helps families and individuals gain clarity, understanding their strengths and challenges, and provide access to support.

Theo Koda
Assistant Psychologist
I am an assistant psychologist here at Evolve and I work within the neurodevelopmental team supporting assessments for ADHD and autism at Evolve's Norwich office. Within my role, I run Qb tests, conduct school observations, and work closely with clinicians to ensure thorough evaluations. I am passionate about providing a person-centred approach to my work, and I have a particular interest in how clients' individual differences impact their lived experiences. I value the opportunity to use my clinical knowledge and experience to support clients throughout the diagnostic process.

I am the Chief Operating Officer here at Evolve. I have a commercial background, and I find it rewarding to support training and research in an area where society still has much to learn. In my role, I oversee our internal systems and processes across all areas of the business. I enjoy working with our various departments to help create a positive and cohesive working environment.

Dr Emma Knowles
Consultant Clinical Psychologist
I have always had a keen interest in research and as a clinician, I recognise the importance of basing clinical practice on a strong evidence and research base. Before training to be a Clinical Psychologist, I completed a PhD which explored different factors impacting children's reading development, including social, emotional and behavioural influences. Whilst training to be a Clinical Psychologist, I completed research exploring parental wellbeing for children with a rare genetic disorder. I am keen to continue contributing to research, particularly in the area of neurodivergence, which is my area of clinical expertise. I am also excited to contribute to training around neurodivergence for neurodivergent people, families, and other clinicians and services.

Developing training and resources for Evolve Skills Academy is a great opportunity to share my knowledge and experience as a consultant clinical psychologist, and to connect with my creative side! Anna Marran
Specialist Neurodevelopmental Practitioner (Nurse)
I have a wealth of experience spanning over two decades in paediatric and adult nursing, with a strong background in early years development, public health and mental health. I bring extensive experience in providing care within a social model of health, particularly in assessing and supporting individuals and families facing diverse challenges. With a commitment to compassionate care and a tenacious interest in neurodiversity, I have a passion for providing high-quality assessment of individuals with neurodevelopmental challenges across all age groups.

I am the Business & Client Relationship Manager at Evolve. With a background in sales, I enjoy connecting with people and bringing awareness and understanding to products and services that I believe in. Through Evolve Skills Academy, I aim to increase knowledge and training about neurodiversity to businesses, individuals and educational settings and support them through their next steps, improving and increasing their neuroinclusivity strategies.
